Service Description

After checking into your room at Skyline Guest Ranch, enjoy all the activities and amenities the ranch has to offer. Join your guide (and the rest of the Skyline Family) for an elevated home-cooked dinner. Finish the evening off around a warm campfire. Retire to your private room for a good night's rest. Enjoy breakfast before venturing into Yellowstone National Park for a private guided fly-fishing excursion. Ride, via horseback, into the backcountry for premier fishing on the world-renowned streams of Yellowstone. Skyline prides itself on fishing, riding, and exploring remote areas. This adventure is a great way to get away from the crowds and experience Montana and Wyoming at their finest. This full-day experience is private and customizable; location and duration are flexible to accommodate anyone. If you are not a fisherman, no worries! We love teaching people how to fly fish. We will even provide your gear and equipment. Includes lodging, meals, horse, certified guide, sack lunch, and drinks. Prices are based on double occupancy in our standard room accommodations. For all-inclusive stays in our premium accommodations (including the colter room and glamping tent) please call for availability and pricing. Sample Itinerary: Day 1 Check into your room at the ranch and explore the property before joining your guide and the rest of the cowboys for a welcome dinner. Finalize riding plans for the following day before spending the evening around the campfire. Day 2 Follow the horse trailer into Yellowstone National Park to the trailhead. Set out for a full-day ride into the backcountry. See amazing scenery, beautiful landscapes, and wildlife. Our favorite rides include Specimen Ridge, the Stairway to Heaven, and the Lamar Valley. Day 3 Spend the day relaxing and exploring the area on you're own. Take a break from horseback riding! Hike some waterfalls, check out Yellowstone tourist locations, or drive the Beartooth Highway (the number one scenic byway in America). Day 4 Enjoy the majesty of the Beartooth Mountains. Their beauty is often overlooked by the popularity of Yellowstone. Ride the 'beaten path' into the alpine country for a technical day of riding and sightseeing. Stop for lunch at a lake before heading back to the ranch for your last dinner with the crew. Day 5 After a final breakfast, say you're goodbyes before check-out, hopefully, to return to Skyline soon for more adventure and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
