Summer 2024 Highlights

Summer at Skyline Guest Ranch is a season of unforgettable moments set against the stunning backdrop of Cooke City, Montana, and Yellowstone National Park. With horses grazing among blooming wildflowers, fishing lines cast into pristine waters, and nightly campfires creating cozy gatherings under starlit skies, every day offers its unique charm. From exhilarating trail rides and backcountry fishing trips to special events, weddings, and retreats, this past summer has been filled with the spirit of adventure and community. Here’s a look back at some of our favorite highlights for summer 2024!

As the snow melted this past May, we found a huge set of moose paddles right in the front yard of the lodge!

Kaleb & Bella got married at Skyline in August! It was so fun to welcome our family and friends to the ranch to help celebrate!

This June and October we partnered with Mark McKenna Studios to host two Painting Masterclasses. It was great seeing the artists improve each day, putting their newly learned skills into action! Our 2025 workshop dates will be announced soon!

Skyline had the honor and privilege of helping fulfill a Make-A-Wish trip for a little cowgirl battling cancer! It was a joy helping her and her sweet family experience some of the beauty and adventure to be had in Montana. Thank you to the Colorado Make-A-Wish Organization for allowing us to be a part of this!

Our first-ever Women's Retreats were a hit! With over two weeks of adventure and relaxation, we got to know some amazing women. We are thrilled to offer two women's retreats in the summer of 2025!

Callahan went on his second fishing trip and it was amazing!

In September, Skyline hosted its second wedding of the season! Helping Marc & Courtney celebrate their love with so many friends and family was so fun. Plus, they went fishing the day before their wedding, isn't that the coolest thing ever?!

This past spring, Luke restored a 100-year-old wagon and converted it into a chuckwagon. Along with the addition of a large grill, we were able to host chuckwagon dinners. This cultivated many fond memories of gathering with live music, a campfire, roaming horses, and lots of yummy food!
